Background:
The Giving Assistant Button is a browser extension that helps users earn cash back, apply coupons, and donate to nonprofits. Based on user feedback and reviews, its design evolved to minimize uninstalls and reduce churn. This case study reflects both the product’s growth and my own as a designer, learning to balance user needs with business goals in a fast-paced startup environment.
